A habit is a redundant
whole thoughts, behaviors and emotions automatic and unconscious which is
acquired through repetition A habit is when you have done something so many
times that your body now knows how to do it even better than your mind. If you
think about it, people wake up in the morning, they start to think about their
problems. These problems are circuits, memories in the brain. Each of these
memories is connected to people and things, at certain times and in certain
places and if the brain is a record of the past, by the time they start their
day, they already think in the past Each of these memories has an emotion.
Emotions are the finished product past experiences. So by the time they
remember memories of their problems, they suddenly feel unhappy, they feel sad,
they feel pain. The way you think and feel create your way of being. So the
whole way of being people, when they start the day, is in the past. So what
does this mean? The familiar past goes sooner or later become the foreseeable
future. So if you believe your thoughts have any relationship with your destiny
and that you cannot think bigger than what you feel our feelings become your
way of thinking, by the definition of emotions you think in the past. And for
the most part, you're going continue to create the same life. So people grab
their phones, they check their WhatsApp, they check their messages, they check
their emails, they check Facebook, they take a picture of their feet, they post
it on Facebook, they tweet something, they go on Instagram, they check the
news, and now they feel really connected to everything that is known in their
lives.
Then they go through a
series of routine behavior. They get out of bed on the same side, they go to
the toilet, they have a cup of coffee, they take a shower, they dress, they
drive to work in the same way, they do the same things, they see the same
people, they press the same emotional buttons, and it becomes routine and it
becomes like a program. So now they have lost their free will for a program and
there is no hand invisible which forces them. So when the time comes to change,
the redundancy of this cycle becomes a subconscious program. So now 95% of who
we are when we reach 35 is a set of memorized behaviors, emotional reactions,
unconscious habits, attitudes, beliefs and wired perceptions, which works like
a computer program. Then a person can say with the 5% of his conscious mind I
want to be healthy, I want to be happy, I want to be free. But the body is in a
totally different program. So how do you start to make these changes? Well, you
have to go beyond analytical mind because what separates the conscious mind of
the subconscious mind it is the analytical mind. And this is where meditation
comes in because you can teach people, through training, how to change their
brain waves, slow them down. And when they do it right they enter the operating
system where they can start to make really significant changes. So then most
people expect a crisis or trauma or illness or a diagnosis ...
They are waiting for a
loss, a tragedy to make change their mind. And my message is: Why
wait? You can learn and change in a state of pain and suffering where you can
learn and change in a state of joy and inspiration. I think now what's cool is
that people wake up. It's really interesting. Where I find the deepest hook and
how powerful it can be for someone it's when you speak trauma, and you
explained How? 'Or' What people experience a traumatic event but then repeat
it, and how it goes next this effect of tearing them down. So why do people
find this so difficult to get over a trauma? The higher the emotional reaction
related to an experience of your life is strong the higher the emotional
quotient, the more you pay attention to the cause. The moment the brain
concentrates all his attention to the cause, he takes an instant photo. It is
called a memory. So long-term memories are created from emotional experiences
very intense. So what happens next is that people think neurologically within
the circuits of this experience. and they chemically feel within the confines
of these emotions. And so when you have an emotional reaction to someone or
something most people think they can't control their emotional reaction. Well
it turns out that if you allow this emotional reaction, (this is called the
refraction period) to last for hours and days this is called a mood. They say
to someone "Hey, what's up?" I'm in a bad mood. Why are you in a bad
mood? I have this thing that happened to me 5 days ago and I have a long
emotional reaction. If you keep this same reaction emotional for weeks and
months, this is called a temperament. Why is he so bitter? I don't know, let's
ask him Why is he so bitter? Why are you bitter Well i got this thing happened
to me 9 months ago. And if you keep the same reaction emotional for years this
is called a personality trait So learn how to shorten your refractory period of
emotional reactions is really where the work begins. So then, when people have
an event what they do is they keep remembering because the emotions of stress
hormones, survival emotions say pay attention to what happened because you want
to be prepared if it still happens.
It turns out that most
people spend 70% of their lives to live in survival mode, in stress mode so
they are always anticipating the worst scenario based on past experiences and
they are literally, among all the infinite potential of the quantum field, they
select the worst possible outcome and they start to emotionally adopt it
through fear and they condition their bodies in a state of fear. Do this enough
times, and the body catches a panic attack without you you can't even predict
it because it's scheduled subconsciously. So then, you tell a person Why are
you like that ? And they will say I am like that because of this
event that happened to me 15 or 20 years ago. And what it means from a
biological point of view is that they weren't able to change since this event.
So then, the emotions of this experience tend to give to the body and to the
brain an influx of energy. So people get addicted to the influx of these
emotions and they use the problems and the conditions in their life to reaffirm
their limitation, so that at least they can feel something. So when the time
comes to change you tell the person Why are you like that ? well every time
they remember the event, they produce the same chemicals in their body and
their brain as if the event was happening, turning on and wiring the same
circuits and sending the same signature emotional to the body. What is the
relevance behind this? Well your body is your unconscious mind. He doesn't know
the difference between the experience which creates emotion, and the emotion
that you create by your own thoughts, so the body believes that he has the same
past experience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
So when these emotions
influence certain thoughts, and they do, and then these thoughts create the
same emotions and that these same emotions influence the same thoughts now the
whole way of being of a person is in the past. So then, the hardest part about
change is not to make the same choices than the ones you did the day before,
period. And from the moment you decide to make a different choice get ready,
because it's going to be uncomfortable. The most important thing is that we
continue to turn on and connect these circuits. They become more and more wired
so that you have a thought and that the program works. But it's
the emotion that follows the thought. If you have a thought of fear, you're
going to feel anxious. The moment you experience anxiety, your brain checks
with your body and said Yeah you're pretty worried So then you start to think
more and more to corresponding thoughts, equal to how you feel. The redundancy
of this cycle conditions the body to become the spirit. so now when the time
comes for change the person steps into a river of changes and they make a different
choice and suddenly they no longer feel the same way. So the body says You did
this for 35 years, you will just stop to suffer and stop feeling guilty and
stop feeling ashamed, you are not going to whine or fault or rationalize or
feel frustrated about yourself ... The body is in the obscure. So the body
says I want to go back in familiar territory. Then the body begins to influence
mind and he says Start tomorrow.
You are too much like
your mother. You will never change. It's not going to work for you. It does not
seem fair. And so if you answer this thought as if it were true, that same
thought will lead to the same choice, which will lead to the same behavior,
which will make a similar encounter, which will create a similar feeling. I
would like to talk about this notion of ... Give me a little more details ...
What do you mean by the body becomes the mind or the unconscious mind? What do
you mean by that exactly? These are 2 different things. Your body is your
unconscious mind. In a way, if you're sitting and you start to think about
worst futuristic scenario that you evoke in your mind and you start to feel the
emotion of this event your body doesn't know the difference between the event
that takes place in your world, the outside watch, and what is
created only by an emotion or a thought. So most people are constantly
reaffirming their emotional states. When the time comes to give up that
emotion, they can say "I really want to do it", but really, the body
is stronger that mind because it has been conditioned in this way. So the
servant is now become the master and suddenly once people step into this
stranger, they prefer to feel guilt and suffering, because at least they can
predict it.
To be in the unknown is
scary for most people because the unknown is uncertain. People tell me I cannot
predict my future. I am in the unknown. I always say the best way to predict
your future is to create it. Not from the known, but from the unknown. What
thoughts want to turn on and wire in your brain? What behaviors do you want
demonstrate in a day? The act of mentally repeating them, by closing your eyes,
repeating the action ... The repetition of the action what you want? Yes, do
whatever you want. By closing your eyes and repeating mentally actions, if you are
really present, the brain doesn't know the difference between what you imagine
and what you are experiencing in the 3D world. So then you start to install
neural connections in your brain in the same way as if the event had already
happened. Now the brain is no longer a record of the past, now it's a map to
the future. And if you keep doing it, start it like this, the material becomes
a computer program and who knows, you could start to behave like a happy
person. And I think the hardest part is to teach our bodies emotionally what we
will feel in the future before the experience happens. So what does that mean?
You can't wait let your success happen to make you feel successful. You can't
wait to have a fortune to feel it is abundant. You can't wait new relationships
to feel love, or that you feel your healing is complete. I mean this is the old
model of reality causes and effects ... Wait for something outside of us
changes the way we feel inside. When we feel better inside we pay attention to
the person or the thing that caused it What it means next is that in a
Newtonian world most people spend their entire lives living in need while
waiting for something to change "over there" What do you mean by
Newtonian world? The Newtonian world is everything about what is predictable.
Everything about predicting the future. But the quantum model of reality is
about causing an effect.
The moment you feel abundant and deserving you
generate wealth. By the time you gain power and feel it, you start to take a
step towards your success. By the time you start to feel full your healing
begins and when you love yourself and that you love all your life you will
create an equal and now you cause an effect. And that's the difference between
live as a victim of your world saying I'm like this because of this person or
this thing, or this experience, they made me think and feel like this. When you
change that, you become the creator of your world and you start to say: My way
of thinking and feeling change a result in my life and now ... It's a
completely different game when we start to think more and more that we are the
creators of reality. So how are we Ok I have this negative emotion, she
controls my life, she led me into this cycle of ... I think of this emotion
which triggers a chemical reaction, which causes my body to feel that way,
which makes it easier and more likely that I will do it again, and so now I'm
in this vicious circle ... And it's unconscious. Exact. And you said "Did
your thinking create your environment or does your environment creates your
thinking? " which, in my opinion, was very, very interesting.
So, how are we going to
start from that, mechanically, to start this visualization process something
that gives
us power? It's me in a different state, it's my future me ... Is it
meditation? Is this ... what does it look like? You are not defined by a vision
of the future so that leaves you with old memories of the past and you will be
predictable in your life. And if you wake up in the morning and you are not defined
by a vision of the future, as you see the same people and you go to the same
places and you do the exact same thing, at the exact same time, it's no longer
your personality which creates your personal reality, now your personal reality
is starting to affect or create your personality. Your environment controls
really how you think and feel, subconsciously. Because each person, each thing,
each place, each experience has a network neuronal in your brain. Every
experience you have with each person produces an emotion. So people will use
their boss to reaffirm their addiction to judgment. They will use their enemy
to reaffirm their addiction to hatred. They will use their friends to reaffirm
their addiction to suffering. So now ... They need the outside world to feel
something. So to change, then, you have to be better than your surroundings, be
better than the conditions in your world, despite the environment being so
attractive. So then, why is meditation the tool? Well, sit down, close our
eyes, let's disconnect of our external environment. If you see less, there is
less stimulation going to your brain.
If you listen to soft
music or if you have ear plugs, less sensory information get to your brain so
you log out of your environment. If you can make your mind sit and tell him to
stay like an animal "Stay here ! I will feed you, when we're done you
can get up and check your emails, you can write all your messages, but now,
you're going to sit here and obey me. " So then when you do it right,
you don't eat anything, you don't feel anything, you don't taste anything, you
are not experimenting or to feel anything, you will agree with me, you are
defined by a thought. So when the body wants go back to your emotional past,
you become aware that your attention is paid to this emotion, and where you
place your attention is where you put your energy, you siphon your energy out
from the present moment to the benefit of the past, and you become
aware of that, and you stabilize your mind back in the present moment, because
he says: Well, it's 8am normally you get angry because you are in traffic at
this hour and you sit and you are used to feeling angry and you're out of your
schedule. Oh it's 11am and usually you check your emails and you judge everyone
... " Well your body is looking after this predictable chemical state.
Whenever you realize that you do that and your body is lacking of these
emotions and you stabilize it back in the present moment, you tell your body
that he is no longer the spirit ...
That the spirit is you
And now your will became stronger than the program. And if you keep doing this
again and again, it's the same as training a stallion or a dog, he will just
say: "I will sit down." By the time this happens, when the
body is no longer the spirit, when he finally capitulates, there is a release
of energy. We go from a particle to a wave, from matter to energy. And we free
ourselves from our channels, of those emotions that keep us in the familiar
past, and we saw that thousands of times, and we can really predict it now on a
brain scanner. What did you learn ? How will you apply it to your life?
